Beach Changing Hut Cabana Limoges Box

A seaside changing hut stands ready on the sand, the kind of little cabana that lines the beaches of the French Riviera each summer. This sunny scene is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France.

Riviera Days in Miniature

Beach huts and cabanas have been part of seaside life in Europe for generations, offering a spot to change, rest and watch the waves. This porcelain version brings that holiday mood indoors. It is painted by hand, so each hut carries its own small variations in color and line.

Postcards From the Coast

This makes a happy souvenir of a trip to Nice, Cannes or Saint-Tropez, and a fun present for a friend who spends every summer at the shore. It also suits a retiree moving to the coast, a lifeguard at the end of the season, or a couple honeymooning by the sea.

Set it on a beach house bookshelf, a bathroom vanity with a nautical theme, or a sunny windowsill. Grouped with other coastal pieces, it creates a little seaside promenade that keeps summer close all year.
