A bear cub accents the pewter lid of this clear glass honey pot. The Little Bear design holds 12 fluid ounces and includes a spoon, keeping the serving vessel, cover and utensil together for breakfast or tea.

“Honey is easier to serve with its own spoon and a saucer beneath the pot. I would put both on the breakfast tray before setting out the toast.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
