Pet Carrier with Black Cat Porcelain Limoges Box

A black cat peers out from a pet carrier, looking none too pleased about the trip ahead, in this funny and familiar scene. The whole scene was cast in porcelain and painted by hand in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box.

Not the Carrier Again

Every cat owner knows the drama of getting a cat into a carrier for a trip to the vet. This piece captures the moment with good humor, the carrier forming the box and the black cat peeking out from inside. Each one is painted by hand, so every cat has its own expression.

Purr-fect for the Cat Shelf

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a cat, pet or veterinary themed collection
• Pairs well with cat bed, yarn ball and fish bowl pieces

For Cat People Everywhere

This is a perfect-pitch present for a new cat adopter, a veterinarian, a vet tech or a pet sitter who has wrestled more than one reluctant cat into a carrier. It also makes a warm remembrance for someone who has lost a beloved black cat.

Set it on a desk, a bookshelf or a curio cabinet with other cat pieces. Black cat fans especially enjoy bringing it out for Halloween, though it fits in just as well the rest of the year.
