Tuli Mango Wood Pillar Candleholders in Rustic White by Mela Artisans — Set of 2, 15 in

The large Tuli pillar candleholders have a softly rustic-white finish over mango wood, their tall, turned profiles lending height to a room without demanding elaborate decoration. Unlike the graduated Tuli trios, this set contains two matching large stands.

A matched pair is particularly useful on a mantel, at either side of a console arrangement or as anchors to a long dining-table composition. The lightly finished wood contributes the texture of handwork and sits as comfortably with antique oak as it does with painted furniture.

"There is something reassuring about a well-matched pair, especially on a mantel. I like that these Tuli candleholders bring symmetry to a room while their softened white finish keeps the effect relaxed."

Maker / Heritage

Mela Artisans was founded by Navroze S. Mehta and Sonali Mehta Rao to connect traditional Indian craft communities with contemporary homes. Its work with more than 3,500 artisans reflects a sustained interest in preserving hand skills while bringing their results into everyday domestic life.

Within its carved-wood collections, the pleasure lies in the evidence of handwork: considered silhouettes, carefully finished surfaces and the natural variation of timber. Their usefulness is as important as their sculptural presence.
