Yellow Artist's Paint Tube Porcelain Limoges Box

A tube of sunny yellow artist's paint gets the porcelain treatment here, bright as a field of sunflowers. Made in Limoges, France, this Limoges box was painted by hand and pairs naturally with its red companion tube.

Squeezing Out Sunshine

Yellow is the color painters reach for when they want light: sunflowers, lemons, a glowing sky at dusk. Van Gogh famously filled canvases with it, and this little tube honors that same love of bright color. Each box is decorated by hand, so the shade of yellow varies a touch from one to the next.

A Studio Shelf Set

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Suits an art studio, painter or fine arts grouping
• Pairs with red paint tube, palette and easel pieces

Color Theory Gifts

Give it to a painter who just finished a canvas, an art teacher on the last day of class, or a student heading off to art school. Placed beside the red tube and a palette, it starts a small studio scene on a bookshelf or desk. It also brightens a gray office cubicle, a craft room or a sewing corner.
